Burnish Creative is an 8-year-old post production company that has quickly become one of the top post houses in LA. We are a creative space for design and VFX, production, editing, and finishing. Founded by three A-List Emmy creatives, we know a little something about bringing big ideas from inception to the finish line.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about our industry, who excels in written and verbal communication, is a critical thinker with a high level of comfort with clients and technical artists equally. Someone who can speak creative and client operations. This person needs to be comfortable with tracking resource usage to budgets and making decisions that directly impact our bottom line, while helping us continue to excel in world-class customer service and operations for our clients.
This individual will shepherd finishing projects through our facility, focusing predominantly on the downstream operations. They will ensure that we are able to deliver projects as scoped in the original proposal, and make good decisions for the clients and the business when there is scope creep. This individual will effectively project manage shows, keeping the business and clients abreast of schedules, deliverables, changes, and budgets.
They will help us manage projects to avoid unplanned and unexpected costs. This individual will be very familiar with the client’s budget and timeline and know when either has the potential to be negatively impacted. They ultimately are responsible for for carrying a project through to have successful margins, staffing, and scheduling.
Initial responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Tracking projects back to the schedule and budget
- Interfacing with clients day-to-day as project timelines and deliverables change
- Notifying scheduling when there are changes
- Making decisions with clients that maximize profitability and minimize client dissatisfaction
- Shaping the future of our bidding and scheduling process by providing feedback to the upstream operations manager so we continue to refine our proposal process

Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
