Post-Doc Fellow or Senior-Level Engineers for Medical Device Development

Introduction

We’ve been developing organ-replacing medical devices - a next-generation, portable hemodialysis device - in collaboration with the University of Toronto and Johns Hopkins University. We have completed nine (9) fully-functional prototypes as well as a preliminary animal study. Exorenal has offices/labs in Maryland (Baltimore) and South Korea (Seoul). Seeking experienced R&D engineers, contributing for the commercialization of an ultra-small hemodialysis device.

Job Description

● Design and Testing of Medical Fluidic Devices

- Bench-top & Blood Tests

- Establishing Experiment Protocol

- Preparing Experiment Specimen/Materials

- Data Acquisition, Analysis and Reporting

- Revising Test Protocols

- Basic Trouble Shooting of Prototypes

- Participate in Design Change & Modification

- Pre-clinical Animal Study

● Ph.D. or MS+5Y↑. Ph.D. is preferred.

● BS in Engineering or Science. Such as ME, EE, CE, BME.

● Having published SCI papers as 1st author (Mandatory)

● Opportunities to publish SCI-grade research papers

● Will be involved in grant proposal

● Prior Experience in thermo- or fluid-dynamics
