Job description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sort, scan and return closing packages to Lenders according to their instructions
- Ship and maintain internal records of the closing proceeds along with any supporting documentation to the appropriate parties in an accurate and timely manner
- Scan and update tracking information for outgoing checks, ledgers and supporting documentation into internal database for accurate record-keeping
- Communicate with Closers to ensure efficient and complete post-closing of file
- Compile and scan physical original documents that will be recorded
- Mail out recorded documents to the Buyer(s) and Lender via mail
- Log, distribute and scanning incoming mail when necessary
- Monitor and respond to emails in the Post-Closing email box in a timely manner
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent require
- Minimum 1 year experience in title, real estate, foreclosure or related field preferred
- Knowledge of real estate and/or closing documents such as Notes, Deeds, Mortgages, Closing Disclosures/HUD Settlement Statements, etc. preferred
- Prior experience using shipping services including FedEx preferred
- Knowledge of clerical procedures to include operation of copier and scanner preferred
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented required
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a high volume and fast-paced environment required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Experience in Microsoft Office and Outlook required
- Experience working in SoftPro a plus
