The Environmental Services Associate is responsible for cleaning all patient rooms, nurses’ station, bathrooms, waiting areas, departmental areas, offices, hallways, and other public areas on a daily basis. Additional responsibilities include: removing trash and linens from all areas of the facility and performing proper procedures for the care of carpets, hard surface floors, and walls.
In the execution of job duties, it is the universal expectation that all tasks are performed with a patient centered focus, while also seeking opportunities to continually improve core processes. Incumbent will be scheduled based on operational need, which may include but is not limited to: holidays, extended shifts, night and/or weekend shifts, standby and/or on-call. Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent X Preferred Required
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Ability to read, write, and speak basic English.
