Qualifications

At least 1 year experience as a janitor but not a deal breaker willing to train the right person

Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery

Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies

Must be team oriented, have integrity and be an excellent self starter

Able to follow directives

Must be punctual and reliable

Responsibilities

Reports to work on time and completes assigned workload thoroughly and efficiently

Responsible for general upkeep of the building

Makes certain the building(s) is clean and in orderly condition.

Performs heavy cleaning duties and rubbish removal as assigned

Notifies shift manager of anything that requires additional attention

Duties

Cleaning duties include but are not limited to dusting, disinfecting, sanitizing, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, polishing, spot cleaning, garbage collection and disposal, polishing, waxing, stripping, buffing, general cleaning, deep cleanings and whatever tasks may be assigned.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

• Pedricktown, NJ 08067: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

• Day Shift (Preferred)
