Job description
A Democratic State Representative is seeking re-election in the Tampa, Brandon and Thonotosassa area and needs your help to knock on doors and reach the voters to spread the message! We are looking for motivated individuals with the drive to speak to their neighbors to elect Democrats. No experience required, but must be motivated to walk through neighborhoods, approach new people and talk about politics.
Duties
-Door-to-door canvassing
-Speaking directly with voters to turnout their votes
-Using miniVAN app to track lists and data
Qualifications:
Entry level position; no prior experience necessary but great to have.
-Motivated to elect Democrats in Florida
-Strong communication skills
-Social and ready to speak to new people
-Self starter and motivated to work
-Good time management abilities
-Reliable transportation and a smartphone
Pay
Pay for the canvasser position is $15/hr.
