Paid Opportunity to Join Tier 1 State Senate Campaign

Do you have a passion for politics, local government, or helping improve your community? Put that passion into action by getting involved in a Tier 1 state senate campaign!

Bill Robertson is a leader in the field of education who is running to get things done for us. He’s looking for individuals like you to join the campaign!

You will be responsible for communicating Bill’s campaign message to voters throughout the 27th District (which includes all or parts of: Arlington Heights, Palatine, Mount Prospect, Prospect Heights, Des Plaines, Rolling Meadows, Schaumburg, and Buffalo Grove). You will be part of the campaign “ground team,” going door-to-door to interact with voters on behalf of the campaign.

Must Be Able To:
● Engage with residents on local political issues in a non-argumentative manner.
● Have physical stamina to walk door-to-door for multiple hours at a time.
● Commit to a professional and friendly attitude.
● Work a minimum of 15 hours/week through November 8th.
● Travel throughout the 27th State Senate Legislative District.
● Learn the local political process and the issues of the district.
● Most importantly, represent Bill Robertson and his campaign professionally and appropriately.

Meet Bill:
Bill Robertson is a leader in the field of education with extensive experience as a superintendent of schools, school board president, professor, and teacher.

Robertson uses his expertise to support his community and further the field of education. He has earned two master’s degrees: one in teaching and one in school leadership. He has also earned a Doctor of Education in
School Leadership degree. Robertson lives in Arlington Heights, where he stays active by weightlifting, biking, and golfing.

Why Bill is Running for State Senate:
Bill Robertson is running for the Illinois Senate for one reason: to get things done for us. He will work to lower costs for working families, work to make our communities safer, and fight corruption in Springfield.

Job Types: Part-time, Internship

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

• Arlington Heights, IL: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
