This is a part-time seasonal position starting Nov 7, 2022 through approximately Jan 8, 2023 at the Grand Canyon Railway in Williams, Arizona.

THE POLAR EXPRESS Train Ride at Grand Canyon Railway's Historic Williams Depot is a LIVE, interactive event based on the film by Warner Bros.
We are casting for the Character role of Mrs. Claus. Mrs. Claus character is warm, sincere and full of authentic joy. Mrs. Claus interacts with guests creating a magical experience.
This is a part-time seasonal position starting Nov 7, 2022 through approximately Jan 8, 2023 at the Grand Canyon Railway in Williams, Arizona.
The position is a non-standard work week, part-time 2-3 days, and includes weekends.

Responsibilities:
Mrs.Claus:
Warm, sincere, full of authentic joy.- Fully understand and support Xanterra Mission Statement and Core Values.
- This character role will be responsible for bio-hazard clean-ups as necessary.
- Mrs. Claus maintains cleanliness and stock of supplies in the family activity area.
- Appropriately and patiently interacts with children and adults of all ages, handles children and adults on a one on one basis or in crowds of large quantities, while maintaining audience control.
- Effectively handles stressful situations in a public setting and resolves guest related issues in a professional and timely manner, offering additional assistance to guests in need.
- Works as a team player, establishes and maintains an effective professional working relationship with co-workers, directors, and other departments; working together in a positive work environment.
- Maintains schedule flexibility, working scheduled shifts to include days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Shifts are 6+/- hours per day.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must possess good interpersonal skills with the ability to read, write, and speak English; communicate professionally, effectively and clearly face-to-face, and in written communication
- Previous experience in theatrical role playing is a plus
- Customer Service experience in a hospitality industry is prefereed
