Planning & Analysis Director
Job description
Job Purpose or Objective(s): You will be responsible for all outcome and Indicator reporting for assigned areas at Durant Casino & Resort. You will be a partner with assigned work groups and will facilitate data-driven decision-making. You will meet with important members of Business and Program management to review reports and highlight important findings. You will report to the Senior Director of Performance Analytics.
Primary Tasks:
- You will analyze all aspects of assigned Businesses and Programs and is providing summary reporting and recommendations to maximize overall performance.
- You will work with assigned Property Senior Leadership to identify areas or opportunity and additional ad hoc reporting gaps.
- You will meet with property management teams to review information and apply best practices, supported by analysis, to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- You will analyze complex financial performance models and prepare recommendations for policy, procedure, control or other decisions.
- You will provide input and direction into the development and monitoring of the business plan, fiscal budgets, and department operations to produce both short and long-term profitability
- You will provide consolidated reporting on important metrics to leadership.
- You will work with Business Intelligence development team to automate analysis content for self-service usage by business leads.
- You will perform special adhoc projects/reports as assigned
- You will perform other responsibilities as may be assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills including, higher level functions in EXCEL such as Pivot Tables, sumifs, Nested formulas, V/H lookups, Macros, Graphing, Word, and PowerPoint
- Maintain organization, have integrity, confidentiality in handling confidential information
- Analyze general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- 3 years' experience planning and analysis in assigned discipline
