Position Summary: Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)
Leading surgical and pain management practice is searching for an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Spring Lake near Fayetteville, NC who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. Work M-F, No call or weekends! $120k-$150k plus generous bonuses, DOE! Fantastic benefits! 1+ years’ experience in orthopedics, neuro, trauma or ER a must. Candidate will provide advanced care to patients under the direction of a physician and/or independently. No first assist. All clinical.
Job Duties & Responsibilities: Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Diagnosing, treating, and helping patients
- Triggers points, Injections, follow-ups,…
- Conducting physical examinations and interpreting medical history
- Ordering and performing diagnostic tests and procedures
- Prescribing age-specific physical therapy and rehabilitation
- Prescribing pharmacologic treatments (depends on state regulation)
- Counseling and educating patients about preventive measures
Education & Experience: Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Current valid state medical license
- Degree from accredited NP or PA program
- Board Certified PA or NP
- 1+ years’ experience in orthopedics, neuro, trauma or ER required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certified or specialty certification as required by department.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to work with others and demonstrate leadership qualities
