Responsibilities
Position Summary:
The primary role of the PT aide is to assistant the staff Physical Therapist in the direct care and treatment of the patient relative to the extent of training and experience of the aide. The PT aide is under the direct supervision of the Physical Therapist at all times. Responsibilities for assigned patients include patient treatment as outlined by the Physical Therapist documentation of care and a variety of clerical and support services.The aide reports verbally and in writing on patients treatment. Assignments are dependent on the specific experience training and demonstrated competence of the aide and the needs of the patients. The aide is expected to develop their clinical skills with ultimate responsibility for assuming clinical competency.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Previous experience as a PT aide or other experience in health care services is highly desirable.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English (verbal and written) for effective communication with patients families and all health care team.
- Ability to work independently with no need of direct supervision.
- Completes patient care assignment at the end of the shift.
- Ability to respond to changes in assignment and staffing appropriately.
- BLS and Fire Safety cards.
Pay Range
