Responsibilities and Duties
- Review physician's referral and patient's medical records to help determine therapy treatment.
- Evaluate, plan, prepare, and perform individually designed treatment programs to maintain, improve and/or restore physical functioning,
- Alleviate pain and/or prevent physical dysfunction in patients.
- Identify and document goals,
- Anticipated progress and plans for re-evaluation.
- Evaluate effectiveness of treatment at various stages and adjust treatment to achieve maximum benefit.
- Provide patients with a meaningful rehab experience utilizing excellent clinical skills and exceptional customer service.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a college or university accredited by the Commission on Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE).
- Prior clinical experience treating the geriatric population.
- Strong understanding or ability to understand the state, federal and local regulations pertaining to Medicare.
- Understanding of clinical documentation requirements utilizing electronic health records for Medicare and other payers
- Strong communication skills for accurate, concise, and organized verbal and written interactions with patients and co-workers.
- Previous experience in home health preferred but not required

Pay: $90.00 - $120.00 per hour
