Photolab in Berkeley is looking for a Photo Customer Service Tech for a full time position. This is an in-person customer service position with lots of customer contact and data entry and requires solid experience with analog and digital photography. Customer service training is provided.

Full time position: 35+ hours per week

Job Responsibilities:
- In person, retail customer service (over the counter - phones - and online) and lots of people contact
- Office tasks including lots of data entry
- Order quality control
- Packaging, pricing, and shipping
Requirements for this entry-level position include:
- proficient typing and data entry skills, good spelling and grammar
- basic experience with Photoshop / Lightroom
- a strong background in photography
- the ability to juggle multiple tasks and shift focus often and with ease
- proven ability to effectively collaborate with others to achieve common goals
- self-starter with a track record of hard work, adaptability, productivity
- reliability and excellent attendance are critical

Residency requirement:
- you must currently reside in the Bay Area and be prepared to start work shortly after the position is offered.

Really cool if you have this experience:
▪ Previous experience with customer service or restaurant service
▪ Experience with analog film photography is a plus.
▪ Experience with Noritsu or Fuji minilab printing/scanning is Highly Desirable
▪ Previous employment in a commercial photo lab is Highly Desirable

About Photolab Photolab is located in West Berkeley. We're a woman owned business that's been in this location since 1991. We process film, scan film, print photos in the darkroom and digitally. We do fine art printing and digital reproductions of fine art. We also scan family photos as well as memorial photos and family and institutional archives. During the pandemic we have been open almost continuously. Pandemic safety tools like air (co2) monitoring, air filtering systems, masks, cleaning supplies, rapid testing and guidance are provided. We are still wearing masks indoors and ask our customers to do the same.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
