Advanced Pharmaceutical Consultants, Inc is a pharmacy management company that specializes in behavioral health and drug treatment centers by providing pharmacists, technicians, automation as well as expertise. We are currently seeking a licensed, experienced, hospital trained Pharmacy Technician to join our team at a behavioral health facility in Wichita Falls, TX. This is a part time position, weekend availability.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with Automated Dispensing Machines preferred.
• Active registration with Texas Board of Pharmacy REQUIRED-Please include registration number on Resume.
• National certification preferred

SKILLS

• Unit dosing of oral medications
• Placing orders with vendors, verifying receipt
• Removing outdated drugs
• Proven experience as pharmacy technician
• Knowledge of medication and dosage measurement
• Knowledge of pharmacy law and medical terminology
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Successful completion of a pharmacy technician program preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Weekend availability

• Wichita Falls, TX 76301: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Pharmacy technician: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (Preferred)
• Texas Pharmacy Technician License (Required)
