Position Summary
Assists with completion of Medication Therapy Management (MTM) cases for pharmacy locations
Job Duties/Essential Functions

• Identifies patients who are eligible for medication therapy management (targeted and comprehensive medication reviews).
• Contacts patients to offer and schedule MTM appointments.
• Enters data onto shared MTM communication tool.
• Types up MTM claims for pharmacists to call on.
• Answers the phone and transfers calls to appropriate person.
• Contacts patients to see if they need a medication refilled and/or would like a 90 day supply.
• Assists with documentation, completion and billing of MTM encounters.
• Coordinates and follow up with local pharmacies for face to face patient visits and therapy recommendations or changes.
• Exercises discretion and confidentiality with all patient information.
• Follows established pharmacy and general safety and security procedures and standards.
• Provides prompt and courteous customer service to members, employees and suppliers.
• Performs duties of regular staff technician as required.
• Regular and reliable workplace attendance at your assigned location.

Experience, Skills, Education & Licenses/Certifications
Required:

• National and State certification (PTCB or ExCPT), registration or licenses as Pharmacy Technician as required by state.
• Hazard Communication and JHA (initial assignment), Professionals HIPAA Training (prior to beginning work in department),

Costco Hazardous Materials DOT Training Course: Part 1 (within 30 days and then every year), Hazmat Universal Waste
Training- Short Version (within 30 days and then every year), Option STOP Training (within 30 days), MethGuard (within 30
days).

• Must be current on annual safety training within 30 days of hire.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and type proficiently. A typing test will be administered as part of the application process.

Recommended:

• Experience with MTM.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google sheets.
• Computer, math and customer service skills.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Pay Expectations:

• $20.50 - $25+ DOE

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.50 - $25.00 per hour
