Positions start at $18.02/hour (if candidate comes with an MHRT1 starting pay is $18.59/hour).

Shalom House, Inc is the largest provider of community residential programs and housing for adults with severe and persistent mental illness in Maine. In addition we administrate BRAP and Shelter Plus Care subsidies and have an art program. Join an agency committed to making a difference in the lives of our clients.

We are looking for Relief Residential Support Workers in our Portland, Saco and Biddeford programs. This is a great way to obtain experience within the mental health field, well relief work is a great way to start! Relief Residential Support Workers substitute for regular staff on an as needed basis to provide daily living skills and supportive counseling to adults living with mental illness. Relief Residential Support Workers must be available weekends and nights and often with little notice. No set schedule.

Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or GED and must obtain an MHRT-I certification within 12 months of employment. CRMA preferred but not required.

All shifts available - Days, Overnights and Weekends

Pay Differential ($1 per hour) for hours between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.
