Job Description

SAC’s People & Culture team is seeking a Benefits & Development Partner in our UT location. This position will partner with the Director of People & Culture and Executive Team in developing and implementing strategic HR initiatives in alignment with our company culture, mission, and values. This role will coordinate all administrative and tactical activities related to our personnel, including compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines, benefits administration, talent acquisition, onboarding, and more. The Benefits & Development Partner will work in tandem with the Director of People & Culture on employee development and training initiatives, collaborating with our management team on career advancement and constructive communication practices. Ideal candidates are looking for a position that cultivates strong employee relationships, with opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Typical Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer employee benefits program and provide resources and confidential guidance for all employees.
  • Develop educational resources, advise, and train all levels of the organization on HR-related matters, policies, and best practices.
  • Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently in compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Work in tandem with the Director of People & Culture on employee development initiatives, such as career advancement, goals management, and performance conversations.
  • Maintain HR systems, processes, and employee files electronically.
  • Collaborate with the Director of People & Culture to develop and manage talent acquisition strategy, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding processes.
  • Partner with managers to have insightful and regular feedback conversations that also promote career and organizational goals.
  • Ensure job descriptions are current and in compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Investigate employee issues and conflicts and bring them to resolution.
  • Partner with the Director of People & Culture and managers on employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Update employee handbook and train employees annually.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
  • HRCI or SHRM certification preferred.
  • 3 - 5 years of human resource management experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail, highly punctual.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Spanish speaking candidates a plus.
