We are recruiting for a Part-time (20-25 hours per week / 5 days per week Monday-Friday) – Inpatient Only (weekend rotations required)

Eligible for full benefits package at 24 hours per week!

POSITION SUMMARY:

• The Occupational Therapist (OT) is an integral member of the rehab team and is responsible for the administration of appropriate treatment techniques and modalities for pediatric rehabilitation of children aged birth to 21.
• Responsible for adherence to the scope and standards of practice as defined by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
• Uses creativity, professional judgment, and problem solving techniques to achieve quality outcomes and provide the highest quality of patient centered care.
• Participates in patient and family teaching and works collaboratively with other disciplines.
• Plays an integral role in facilitating functional performance through the integration of physical skills, play based activities, social-emotional development, sensory processing, motor performance, and cognitive abilities

• BS/B in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program, MA/MS/MOT preferred
• NJ OT licensure or eligibility for licensure
• CPR/ BLS certification
• Minimum 2 previous pediatric experience (medical or educational settings preferred)
• NDTA, CHT, AOTA, SI training/certification preferred
• Pediatric experience in both medical and educational settings preferred
• Strong organizational / time management skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work well as a team member
• For Telehealth Services: If treating a patient that is physically located outside of New Jersey, the treating therapist must comply by the rules in accordance with the state licensing board in the state where the patient is physically located
