Job description

An established Pediatric group in the Plainview area is seeking to add a Nurse Practitioner to their busy group (requires several days (a month or week) in Bayside office). This individual will have the benefit of working in a supportive environment with a team environment and a proactive approach to medicine.

• Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating new and existing patient's medical conditions.
• Conducting follow-up visits with patients
• Order laboratory tests, radiology and other diagnostic studies. Interpret results, providing the information to the patient/family
• Administer and order drugs for patients
• Enter notes into the group's EMR account accurately during each patient visit
• Perform patient physicals
• Shared call responsibility with all Physicians in the group

REQUIREMENTS:

• Master's Degree in Advanced Practice Nursing as a Pediatric or Family Nurse Practitioner
• BC as Nurse Practitioner
• Active NYS License
• 1-3 years of Pediatric care experience
