Job Summary:
The Payroll Processing Analyst is a vital position within our payroll services team. This position will be responsible for ensuring payroll runs smoothly and according to policies each cycle from start to finish. This person will come with previous experience in a similar environment. We are looking for someone who comes to work with a positive attitude and is solution focused!

This position will sit in our Orlando, Florida office.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position will not have direct reports
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Process payroll tasks and ensure employee payments are processed accurately and payroll tax compliance is met.
- Process payroll tasks associated with miscellaneous off-cycle payments, as requested.
- Report information on newly hired employees to the designated state agency.
- Conduct pre-note testing activities as needed.
- Responsible for printing and mailing of checks, pay advice, W2s, etc.
- Research and respond to all payroll-related inquiries via the case management system within specified service levels.
- Process withholdings, send payments to appropriate authorities, and handle correspondence with parties on all incoming wage garnishments.
- Import tax data/files into the payroll tax management tool.
- Post the import, review, and verify the accuracy of future tax payments posted, any new tax codes & mapping.
- Participate in year-end processing, tax activities, and other quantitative and qualitative analysis related to compliance and reporting.
- Participate in periodic audits.
- Complete company-sponsored training to maintain knowledge and develop expertise.
- Provide testing support as required for software/hardware upgrades, implementations, and integrations.
- Perform additional tasks as necessary or assigned.
- A degree in accounting, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in processing payroll or in a similar role.
- Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and payroll practices.
- Proficient in using MS Excel (spreadsheets, v-lookups, and pivot tables)
- Great customer service skills and attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well within a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical skills to solve problems and make recommendations.
- Outsourced payroll experience is a plus.
