AT A GLANCE

As a Payroll Lead at RVO Health, you will be responsible for full-cycle payroll processing of bi-weekly employee payroll in ADP Workforce Now software and compensation across the business. This position can be based in our South Charlotte Office on a hybrid schedule or remote (United States).

What You'll Do

  • Collect, compile and process payroll data using ADP Workforce software and ensure information is processed accurately and timely
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and errors by investigating, collecting and analyzing information
  • Adherence and knowledge of all relevant payroll, employment, and income tax laws, regulations, and operating guidelines including quarterly reports, reconciliation and auditing.
  • Provide analytical, operational and technical expertise and support on all payroll and compensation related projects
  • Process quarterly and year-end payroll processing (W-2, W2c processing)
  • Ensure compliance with federal, multi-state and local regulations and guidelines.
  • Recommend new processes to improve performance, accuracy and efficiencies within the payroll function
  • Assist in compensation base pay, annual incentive, bonus plan administration including equity vesting taxation, audit and modeling support as needed to support market data, internal equity, retention and overall pay practices
  • Participate in compensation surveys, analyze results, and recommend necessary changes to plans, structures or pay practices.
  • Effectively manage relationships with various staff, senior management, vendors, payroll administrator, external consultants, and service providers
  • Act as point of contact for general questions related to payroll, compensation and equity plans
  • Work on special projects as assigned and other duties as needed

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience with progressive multi state in-house full cycle payroll processing experience
  • Experience using ADP Workforce Now software
  • Experience evaluating, analyzing, and resolving unique and complex payroll problems, and recommending compensation solutions
  • Solid and robust understanding of multi-state and federal payroll practices, procedures, and employment laws
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and audit skills
  • Positive attitude with a focus on providing awesome internal customer service.
  • Motivated self-starter with a comfort in working within a dynamic environment with competing priorities
  • FPC or CPP Certifications a plus

Pursuant to various state Fair Pay Acts, below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company. The following benefits are provided by RVO Health, subject to eligibility requirements.

  • Starting Salary: $70,000 - $110,000
    • Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications and experience
