POSITION OBJECTIVE:
MobileOne is a T-Mobile Premium Retailer with 200 stores and growing. We are looking for a Payroll Coordinator who can assist with payroll related functions for our 1,000 plus employees. The position requires the ability to work in a fast paced environment for a midsize company.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage employee timekeeping and scheduling system
Manage employee communication and payroll related issues with internal communication software, Slack
Assist with employee data management within ADP software
Manage employee related payroll processing tasks - manual checks, termination processing, time off request, etc.
Responsible for administrative tasks - Employee document scanning and saving, FedEx label preparation, managing expense reports, downloading of payroll reports from internal HRIS system, ADP, etc.
Ensure timely processing of all garnishments and maintain compliance with all state and regulatory requirements
Perform system input review of all employee related changes, including timekeeping system
Employee Direct Deposit set up, changes, and approvals in ADP
Provide the highest level of service as needed and respond to a variety of payroll inquiries in a timely manner
- 2-3 Years of proven experience as a payroll coordinator or similar role
- Working knowledge of payroll software ADP Workforce Now
- Familiarity with payroll processes
- Good knowledge of legislation relevant to accounting and payroll
- Comfortable with Excel (functions, data, etc.)
- An analytical mind with good math skills
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- High level of confidentiality
- Multi State experience a plus
- Mid Size company experience a plus
- Reports to: Payroll Manager
