Job description

Under the direction of the CFO, the Payroll Analyst will be responsible for the daily oversight of payroll functions of THCC, a for profit organization. The Payroll Analyst will oversee the company’s payroll processes and transactions ensuring accuracy, efficiency and timeless of payroll outputs.

Responsibilities:

· Review timesheets and attendance records for inaccuracies.

· Prepare and submit all necessary paperwork for tax deductions, benefits, and garnishment.

· Oversee payroll transactions (e.g. via e-banking)

· Process benefit cost, like insurance fees and sick leave

· Manage payment calendars for the fiscal year.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

· Education: BS/BA Degree in Business or Accounting

· Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of payroll processing experience.

· Language: Proficiency in oral/written English;

· Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel).

· Proven experience as a payroll clerk or Payroll Analyst

· Deep knowledge of state and federal payroll tax regulations.

· Knowledge of Paychex application preferred.

· Highly detail oriented.

· Extremely organized.

· Comfortable with change.

· Demonstrates a high level of productivity while remaining calm and effective under pressure.

· A self-starter with demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as, with multidisciplinary teams and co-workers.

· Ability to maintain a high level of poise and professionalism in all circumstances.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $60,000.00 per year
