SUMMARY STATEMENT:

Keeps records of financial transactions, reconciles and balances accounts, and posts transactions and general ledger journal entries. This position will typically compile reports and variance details for multiple general ledger accounts (i.e. prepaid, payables, receivables). Will often assist the accounting staff in daily accounting operations.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Report daily EFT deposits and wire so that cash can be claimed and recorded as payment to loan balance. Balance deposit detail so that all receipts are account for and applied to proper

2. Enter checks and payment applications accurately toward invoices in a timely

3. Call on account debtors to accelerate payment to the client

4. Provide debtors with information and documentation to satisfy the client’s claim. Assist Debtor’s Analyst by keeping Client Analysts and Relationship Managers informed, enabling swift reaction to changes in account status.

5. Provide information to the Client Analyst and Account Executive when a client has converted funds or dominion of funds to assist in preventing future issues

6. Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Minimum education, experience, technical and communication skill levels and licenses/certificates normally required to perform the duties of this position

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Prior experience in collections, accounts receivable, or accounts payable

· 1-2 years processing experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
