Job description
The candidate is responsible for inputting patient data and making changes to existing data as appropriate. Their duties include inputting data from paper documents into an online platform, double-checking staffs work to make sure they inputted data correctly, and creating digital folders and files for all clients. We are looking for candidates who have experience working within the medical field.
- Create spreadsheets to track important patient information
- Transfer data from hard copy to a digital database
- Update patient information in an online database
- Organize existing data in online database
- Operate common office equipment, like scanners and printers
- Efficient with using email
- Work withing programs such as: Adobe Reader, Word, Dropbox, Online platforms for faxing and data entry
- Search for and investigate information contained in files
- Provide occasional administrative support
- Sort and organize hard copies of paperwork after entering data electronically
- Review data for deficiencies or errors
- Assist with special projects that require large amounts of data entry
- Provide data entry support across departments/staff
- Type in data quickly and efficiently
All new employees will be trained in the software utilized by our company. The main focus of this job will be to read patient medical records and record appropriate information into our patient database online. Additionally, you will transfer written and verbal information relating to patients social, medical, and behavioral needs into the our online database. This will require the candidate to be efficient in their typing skills, as well as be familiar with basic medical terminology.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
