BeSpoke Vision needs a Patient Care Optician to help our patients leave our office looking AND seeing their best. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with a team of compassionate and engaging professionals to provide exceptional care to our patients!

Our opticians are responsible for curating our frame collection and interacting with each patient to find their own unique look. Your role is to be an educator and a style consultant. We are dedicated to providing personalized eye care and distinctive, independent eyewear. This is a full-time position offering the stability of a career in healthcare, with NO WEEKENDS!

Requirements

• 2+ years in customer service or retail
• Ability to confidently work autonomously
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Special preference given

• Healthcare or eyecare experience with a great attitude
• Experience in luxury retail

Prior eyecare, stylist/styling, healthcare or medical office experience are a plus, but certainly not required. We offer paid training to the right person with a great attitude, a helpful heart, and a love of learning!

Some of your duties will include:

- Helping people choose frames that suit them based on the shape of their face, fit, lifestyle, and prescription.

- Educating first-timers on how to use and take care of their glasses investment.

- Taking accurate measurements, adjusting new glasses for a customized fit and making repairs. Troubleshooting when patients can’t see properly.

- Using our state-of-the-art lens edger to shape prescription lenses and then inserting them into frames.

- Educating patients on their insurance and vision benefits, insurance billing.

- Using your friendliest phone voice to answer incoming calls, take messages, complete outreach to patients.

- Keeping the optical gallery looking clean, neat and welcoming, doing inventory, ordering, sending and receiving shipments.
