Job Title: Parts Counterperson
Peak Industrial Company is made up of four different businesses that spans across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah and Montana. We sell, rent and repair Thermo King transport refrigeration equipment, Bobcat construction equipment, JCB construction equipment and Club Car, Golf and Utility Vehicles as dealership entities for all businesses. We are a family owned and operated business and take pride in treating our employees as such.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain established effective parts department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Use proprietary software to lookup, manage and sell our transport refrigeration inventory.
- Customer interaction, answering phones, answering questions, finalizing sale.
- Fulfill all phone, walk-in and online customer requests for parts.
- Ensure that all branch transfers are processed correctly. This includes parts shipped from other locations.
- Interaction with shop technicians providing parts for repairs.
- Invoicing and payment processing.
- Placing orders with suppliers
- Freight expense control
- Maintain shipping and receiving, daily.
- Daily inventory counts
- Complete and file all parts department paperwork
Requirements:
- Experience in a parts, service or inventory department
- Experience with construction equipment a plus, but not required
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent Computer Skills
- Excellent organization skills
- Must have driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
