As a parts clerk for Western Express, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the parts department along with the parts manager. We pay weekly!
Responsibilities:
- Ordering, receiving and stocking truck and trailer parts and supplies for our maintenance shop
- Handing out and billing parts to repair orders for technicians
- Keeping track of slow and quick moving parts, knowing when new orders need to be placed before inventory expires or runs out
- Mindfully create, review, and monitor work orders in a timely and safe manner
Qualifications:
- Must possess a high level of organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be a team player, and have the best interest of the company in mind at all times
- Must be proactive and forward thinking
- Must have the ability to problem solved in a fast paced environment
- Experience with parts and/or inventory management is preferred.
