Compensation: $25.30 - 31.60/hr (dependent on experience)

Job Summary:

The Parts and Services Technician is responsible for performing repair and service tasks in the Regional Service Center in a safe and efficient manner while providing outstanding customer service and education for all customers and continued support to the IDI sales and technical team.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Follow manufacturer’s guidelines to ensure the quality of their products are maintained in accordance with their recommendations
• Oversees all operations of running a Service Center/Parts Room. Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Quoting
  • Scheduling
  • Pricing
  • Service Orders
  • Quality Control
  • Warranties/Returns
  • Inventory Control
• Supports IDI locations with shipping parts to their branches or directly to their customers
• Records accurate billable time
• Assists other technical staff as needed with special projects
• Conducts local job site visits for on-site training to support regional spray foam customers on a as-needed basis
• Supports the growth of SPF equipment and accessory sales
• Utilizes CRM to maintain records of training and prospecting activities
• Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times
• Completes other duties as beneficial to IDI as assigned

Qualifications/Skills:

• Mechanically inclined and proficient in the areas of engine repair, pump repair, and basic electrical knowledge
• Strong knowledge of spray foam insulation applications, processes, and manufacturers
• Ability to demonstrate and apply technical selling skills and product knowledge
• Effective at troubleshooting spray foam installation problems
• Ability to cross-communicate across all IDI departments and customers
• Proficient planning, time management, and organizational skills
• Efficient in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to set and achieve individual goals and deadlines in a timely manner
• Detail-orientated, ability to multi-task and work independently as well as with other team members
• Ability to travel less than 10% of the time

Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required; 3+ years experience in related field preferred
• Knowledge of electrical, fluid dynamics, pumping systems, hydraulics, gas or diesel engines, or pneumatics preferred
