Are you seeking a part-time position on the North Shore, with one of the region’s most financially stable companies? Join the watchstaff team at Cummings Center in Beverly and enjoy the satisfaction of providing critical oversight of an 80-acre business complex, home to more than 600 businesses. No heavy lifting or manual labor is required, and you’ll be backed up by a full maintenance staff and after hours on-call support staff.

Interested individuals with a strong work ethic and professional demeanor are encouraged to apply for this part-time opportunity. This is a “floating position,” and hours may vary by week, depending on planned and unplanned absences of other team members. Shift will be 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM Saturday and Sunday but could include second shift (2:30 PM to 10:30 PM), or third shift (10:30 PM to 6:30 AM) some weeks, including weekends and holidays.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor activity at Cummings Center via video screens and by conducting on-foot patrols of the buildings, parking garages, and grounds.
• Be alert to facility-related and other incidents at Cummings Center and respond according to standard protocols.
• Provide guidance and support to watchstaff stationed at other Cummings locations.
• Monitor activity at other Cummings buildings in Beverly via video screens.
• Complete clear and concise log entries describing all overnight activities.
• Interact with local police and fire departments when needed.
• Assist clients and visitors with inquiries and directions.

Job Qualifications:

• Experience with MS Office.
• Residency in the greater Beverly area.
• Spoken and written fluency in English.
• A minimum of three years of related experience.
• Access to reliable transportation, including a MA driver’s license.
• Although this is not a security position, prior security guard, military, or law enforcement experience is valued.
