Job description
The part-time test proctor will assist in the administration of standardized tests at Temple University’s Testing Centers upholding policies and procedures of test agencies and test security best practices. The incumbent must fully comprehend the role of the test room supervisor and its impact upon test administration, the serious consequences of a security breach and the obligation to protect confidential information. Flexibility of schedule is required to accommodate testing on an on-call basis. The test proctor must be available for weekday and Saturday hours. The incumbent must be self-motivated and have a strong work ethic. A knowledge of standardization as it relates to academic testing is preferred. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and at least (2) years of relevant experience, preferably in an office setting and/or customer service. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Demonstrated professionalism with the ability to handle and prioritize diverse tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of computer literacy.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be highly organized, detail oriented and able to meet deadlines.
- Ability to quickly learn new computer systems and applications.
- Accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Customer service oriented.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work with people of all constituent groups.
- Experience with standardized testing and test administration.
This position requires a background check.
This position requires Child Abuse Certifications prior to the commencement of service.
Please note this position will temporarily work remotely, the duration of remote work will be at the discretion of Temple University and the department.
