Part-Time Shifts: Monday-Friday 8:00am-1:00pm OR 3:00pm 9:00pm

Summary:
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: answering the phone, booking tennis court times, following inventory control procedures, setting up displays, assisting with tournaments, ringing up sales, closing the day, reconciling the drawer and preparing receipts for daily deposit. TPP and/or IBS system software knowledge would be a plus. Priority is always the greeting and servicing of Members. Responsible for the receipt and proper tagging of all merchandise. Responsible for maintaining stock levels of key products, creating displays weekly or upon receipt of new product, and keeping the shop clean and uncluttered.

Responsibilities:

• Provides outstanding customer service to all members and guests always providing a positive member/guest service
• Maintains friendly demeanor; ensures clothing is clean, pressed, and in good condition and overall attire and appearance meets dress code guidelines.
• Maintains cleanliness of work area.
• Keeps supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
• Notifies management when stock replenishment is needed.
• Books appointments for tennis professionals.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Performs other duties assigned by Director of Tennis

Tennis Shop – Sample tasks include:

• Answer phones in timely manner with a friendly and professional greeting.
• Check in members/guests and update tennis court sheet with outside staff.
• Making sure all members and guests sign their charge/sales receipts.
• Maintains a clean and organized tennis shop.
• Routinely rotates and updates tennis shop fixtures.
• Responsible for maintaining stock levels of key products.
• Responsible for receiving merchandise into inventory.

Other Responsibilities:

• Adheres to the policies and procedures of Premier Club Holdings d/b/a Feather Sound Country Club.
• Maintains strict confidentiality of client, company and personnel information.
• Demonstrates a strong commitment to the mission and values of the organization.
• Adheres to company attendance standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and/or Experience:

• One year of related experience preferred.

Computer Skills:
Proficiency using reservation software programs such as IBS and TPP. Microsoft Office, Excel, Word recommended. G-Suite experience or willingness to learn.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a part-time position (Tuesday to Sunday - 8.00am to noon) to include weekends, holidays and possible evenings.

Environmental Factors/Physical Demands:
Work is performed in an indoor facility. May be subject to bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping and lifting up to fifty (50) pounds.
