Part-Time Field Technician, Syracuse, NY

Location: Syracuse, NY

Travel Required: Yes, Valid Driver’s License Required

Employment: Part-Time, 7-12 hours per week to start

Compensation: $25/hour to start plus Monthly Phone and Travel Allowance

Report to: Customer Care Team

Position Summary:

The Field Technician position is part of the Customer Care Team and provides onsite support for our customers and account support to district leaders. It is the responsibility of the Field Technician to address customer concerns in a friendly, professional, and timely manner. The Field Technician must be able to balance customer and company needs by adapting to the customer’s level of enterprise, being empathetic to the customer’s situation while following Access411’s policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Travel to customer sites to provide onsite support

· Attend meeting with district leaders and personnel to discuss implementations and project goals

· Support technical installation and troubleshooting of computers and equipment including:

· Maintain lines of communication throughout Customer Care Team and to the Account Managers
· Work on special projects as directed by the Customer Care Manager

· Work with management on continual customer service quality

· Proactively manage customer needs

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Effective oral and written communications skills
• Demonstrated desire to learn and continue education in present and future products, services, and technologies
• Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 55 pounds
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
• Friendly and helpful personality
• Professional appearance and behavior
• Prompt attendance a must
• Great communication skills and an understanding of phone and email etiquette
