Part Time Delivery Driver - Vehicle Required, Independent Contract Position
Job description
Our company is looking to hire a Delivery Driver to deliver 10lb bags of ice to customers. The ideal candidate should have a clean driving record and is able to transport packages in a safe and timely manner. A successful Delivery Driver will be responsible for interacting with customers and ensuring that they are satisfaction with their delivery.
Driver must provide their own vehicle and it must be a van, truck, or vehicle large enough to hold at least 20 bags of 10lbs of ice. Mileage is reimburseable.
These jobs are primarily on Saturdays and Sunday. Hours vary and may be only 1 delivery a day or multiple.
Responsibilities:
- Be able to drive safely in all weather conditions and obey traffic laws.
- Load and Unload Ice at Customer locations.
- Push and Pull large amounts of ice on a hand cart.
- Be a people person.
- Be safe and on time.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $35.00 per hour
