POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Parking staff at Lee Canyon is most often the first face our guest's see in the morning and the staff that ensures everyone exits the resort in an organized manner at the end of a long busy day. Expect to spend the majority of your day on your feet. Because this position contributes to the guest's first impression of Lee Canyon, position requires a regular working knowledge of the resort's weather conditions, snow reports, base area locations, and special events, in addition to directing traffic and parking cars.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Throughout workday practice good housekeeping and maintain all equipment, vehicles, and tools in addition to picking up trash in the parking lots and base areas.
• Must be flexible with your schedule and be willing to work weekends, holidays, long hours, and overtime at a moment's notice.
• Perform the daily trash policing of the parking lot including emptying trash cans.
• Report all repair/replacement needs to the foreman and/or the Vehicle Maintenance Department.
• Perform daily counts of parking lots and abandoned vehicles (as well as their locations) and report them to the Foreman.
• Cash handling and cashiering experience.
• Ability to learn and utilize Point of Sale system.
• Must exhibit the ability to think on their feet and come up with solutions for everyday problems.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working in a guest service job.
• Professional appearance and adheres to all grooming guidelines
• Can handle fast paced, potentially high-pressure environment.
• Flexible schedule and can work holidays and weekends.
• Bilingual a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and carry 50 yards.
• Must be able to work in a standing position for up to (8) hours.
• Must be able to work in outside temperatures of less than 32 degrees for up to (8) hours.
• No skiing or Snowboarding ability required, but, recommended.
