Thank you for checking us out! My name is Roxanne (Roxy), I am part of the new leadership of Panama Bay-Vallejo. If you haven't been there recently, it's an awesome place for a coffee house! We're on the waterfront at the Vallejo Ferry Terminal.

A few months ago we began transforming the store. We'd had a bit of a rough time during Covid and with that pretty much behind us now, we wanted to create the store to become much better than it had been.

So what are we up to? We wanted to have Panama Bay Vallejo become a place that made people feel wonderful. Way more than coffee, we would be a place that people could count on for feeling cared for and served at extraordinary levels. We are a company committed to making a positive impact with people and we call it Brewing Joy.

We’re looking for people that love working with people. Ideally you’d have amazing Barista skills and are open to learning more! Ideally, you're guided by kindness & empathy in helping others. Ideally, your friends say you’re an amazing worker! Ideally, you love helping create an awesome place for guests to visit! Ideally, working here with the team will feel like home.

Who are we?

We’re a company that is about creating joy with the people we meet and we chose coffee as the way to do that.

We have an amazing standard for quality and it’s because of the staff that the menu is excellent. But the products are just one of the ways we connect. Panama Bay is more than the products and that’s “How we make people feel”. We’re in the business of serving people. We call it Brewing Joy.

How well we do that depends pretty much on each person that works here. It includes delivering a great menu, it just also provides opportunities that can venture way beyond our lattes. We're about "Making a difference with people", if only for a moment and we do it as a coffee company.

The compensation is based on your abilities (experience and skill). It’s hourly and the tips can be very good! You must be at least 18 years old.
