Talascend is seeking a Painter for a long-term contract to direct hire position with our client in North Hollywood, CA

As a painter you will be responsible for the automotive paint and surfacing side of building designs for the future.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Automotive paint
• Ensure product quality by overseeing the surfacing side
• Follow safety requirements and maintain certifications
• Inspect the product for quality
• Perform color matching product
• Handle materials appropriately and safely

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2 years of automotive paint experience and paint knowledge
• Surfacing knowledge
• Color match experience
• Formulating colors
• Ability to comply with safety guidelines
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Advanced ability to identify issues, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using root cause analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Ability to work effectively with business partners to meet mutual goals.

This position is a 1st shift position (7am-4pm) M-F. Eligible for payed overtime and benefits.
