Job Summary: Painters are responsible for setting up, operating, and tending machines that coat the manufactured products.
1st shift: 6am - 4:30pm, Monday thru Friday
$1/hr attendance incentive offered weekly for perfect attendance.

Essential Job Duties: *

• Utilize proper PPE: safety glasses, steel-toed boots, respirator, and bump cap if under a trailer
• Prepare surfaces to be coated to remove grease, dirt and rust (pressure water washing, power wire brushing, air compressor debris removal, DA Sanding)
• Able to work in a team environment to achieve production goals
• Apply coatings onto manufactured products
• Touch up defective areas of painted items
• Maintain equipment by cleaning nozzles, containers, and hoses of machines
• Prepare paints for different color usage
• Read and understand work orders and work instructions
• Perform quality checks both before and after paint application
• Assist in other areas as needed and perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements*

• High school diploma/GED
• Good physical condition with the ability to safely lift 80 pounds with prolonged periods of standing
• Able to work five 8 hour shifts with potential overtime
• Experience wet coating, preferred
• Willing to submit a pre-employment background check and urine drug screen
