Packaging Operator $16.50 hr plus shift differential flexible/rotating schedule

Overview: Eagle Foods is a leading producer and marketer of canned sweetened condensed milk and evaporated milk products. We also have branched into deliciously awesome retail snack foods. Chances are, you have seen our products already; we market and distribute through many U.S. retail channels, which include grocery stores, club stores and mass-merchandisers, as well as foodservice and export, U.S. military, and private label business.

Responsibilities:

• Follow and understand plant's GMP policies
• Follow and understand plant's PPE policies
• Understands BOS program and completes as required
• Follows all lock-out/tag-out safety procedures
• Understands chemical MSDS and can follow chemical handling procedure
• Understands and can calculate the Shift Indicator
• Understands and can performs Risk Prediction
• Able to complete all quality documentation for Pack 1 equipment
• Understands and can follow procedure for pulling quality samples
• Understands and can follow evaporated milk hold procedures
• Understands and can follow filler room sanitation procedures
• Can operate and conduct basic troubleshooting for Depalletizers
• Can operate and conduct basic troubleshooting for Case Packers
• Can operate and conduct basic troubleshooting for can and case coders
• Can operate and conduct basic troubleshooting for CASI check weighers

Participate in and complete Process Flow training

Understands work order system and can generate work orders

Understands KPI and how the employee can impact

Understand and can maintain plant housekeeping standards

Qualifications: Candidates must meet the following guidelines:

• Must have a high school diploma/GED
• Rotating shift flexibility
• Able to work 12 hour shifts
