Key responsibilities for this position include:

• Assumes responsibility for the operational flow of machine and rotates through multiple positions on the packaging line with ease throughout the work day.
• Inspects the package throughout the packaging line efficiently, looking for correct dates, seals, and other requirements.
• Ensures the finished product meets quality standards and the package identification is correct.
• Guarantees the package meets Lactalis, Inc. standards throughout the process and at no time the quality of the cheese or package is compromised.
• Ensures packaging line is continuously moving with as few “down times” as possible. In addition, will perform any additional tasks as needed by the supervisor/manager.
• Responsibilities may vary depending on department.

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) is preferred.

Experience:

• Previous employment in a food industry setting; preferred

Skills/Abilities:

• Basic mathematical skills are required (must be able to calculate averages).

Sign On Bonus & Pay:

• $750 Sign on Bonus paid after 90 days of employment
• Starting hourly rate $17.00 with a Shift differential of $1.25 for evenings or $2.00 per hour for nights or Weekend Premium $2.00 on Saturday and Sunday
