Our children’s program is currently hiring direct care staff to work OVERNIGHTS with children in foster care system of experience trauma.

This position requires the overnight staff to stay awake during the entire shift and must be able to perform 15 minute bed checks on the youths in our care through-out the night.

SCHEDULE

9pm - 9am (variety of weekdays and weekends available)

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Children’s Residential Program located in Largo, Florida serving ALL BOYS foster children who have experienced trauma; now hiring for OVERNIGHT direct care staff for children that have special needs and/or behaviors.

Qualified applicants will have behavior experience including:

• Experience of at least 2 years working with youths/children who have experienced trauma and may have trauma related challenging behaviors.
• Experience of at least 2 years working with individuals/youth that have special needs
• A plus- Experienced and has been certified in a hands-on crisis management system (ex: PCM, SAFE, CARE, MAB, etc..)
• A plus - Behavioral assistant/ Behavior Health Technician training.

This position is for OVERNIGHTS During this time, it is required that staff must stay awake and perform 15 minute bed checks on the youth in our care throughout the night.

Other job duties include: light cleaning, laundry, daily documents, medication passing in the morning, cooking breakfast, etc.

During the school year: waking the boys up, making sure they are fed, dressed and have their medications before school. Working with the morning shift to ensure that they are at the bus stop in time and ensuring they have a great start for their school day!

Pay Rate: $18

License:

• driver's license w/ GOOD driving record over last 3 years (Preferred if possible)

Background screening

• Must pass DCF Level 2 and local law screens

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
