Overnight Direct Care Staff/Childcare Worker (FT)
Job description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain accurate documentation.
- Obtain information and interpret information in terms of residents.
- Interact directly with residents.
- Assist in planning and executing group, program and recreational activities.
- Serve meals to each resident according to the menu.
- Supervise residents at all times.
- Maintain work environments free of recognized hazards/Provide care, welfare, safety and security.
- Provide transportation to the residents for appointments as needed.
- Complete a minimum of 50 hours of in-service training hours annually in child care services, excluding first-aid and orientation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/ GED.
- Valid Driver’s License- REQUIRED
- At least 25 years of age.
- Able to pass federal background checks and a drug test.
- Must be able to work 5 NIGHTS a week, including weekend days.
No experience is necessary. Training will be provided. Must be able to complete all annual training requirements.
Interested applicants must be able to attend a 1 to 2 week training class during the week( Monday-Friday) and completed 40 hours of Observation.
Available Shifts:
- Shift times are dependent on scheduled days.
