Hours: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm, Monday – Friday & Possible Sat

Pay: $17.25hr. More possible with experience.

The experience you need to succeed:

• At least one-year customer service experience is necessary.
• A High School diploma or equivalent G.E.D.
• Some Collections experience is important but not necessary.
• Knowledge of Symitar system is helpful and some credit union experience.
• Being team, goal oriented, well spoken and a good listener is required.

What you’ll do:

• Contacts members with negative balances on share accounts by phone and mail; takes appropriate action to bring current.
• Contacts members with delinquent loans and takes appropriate action to bring current.
• Reports members to Chex Systems for account abuse.
• Track accounts with negative shares for payment and prepare for charge off if not paid.
• Assists in achieving department's collection goals.
• Maintain low levels of negative shares.
• Contacts member to sell Overdraft Privilege.
• Educates member on Overdraft Privilege.

The person in this position will collect on member's share accounts having a negative balance. This position focuses mainly on the front end of delinquencies.
