Outside Salesman (Residential Construction)
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
Salary: Dependent on experience
About the company: A Affordable Aluminum has been in business for over 30 years. We specialize in building Aluminum Screen Pool Enclosures, Screen Rooms, Patio Covers, Glass Rooms, and Pergolas. We pride ourselves in our excellent customer service and honest core values.
About the job: The position as the Outside Salesman requires attention to detail, multitasking, and excellent communication skills. As the Outside Salesman you will set your appointment schedule with clients, write up proposal outlines, and follow up with clients. This position does not require cold calling, leads are provided. We offer on the job training to ensure your success in the industry. We service the entire state of Texas, predominately a 100- mile radius of Houston.
Job Duties include:
- Meeting with clients on site
- Project Measurements and drawings
- Help design a project that meets or exceeds the client’s expectations
- Answer client questions confidently and intelligently
Job Requirements:
- Must have an understanding of basic residential construction
- Basic computer knowledge
- Phone or ipad with camera capabilities to take jobsite photos
- Willingness to learn our products and procedures
- Ability to visualize product and translate to rough drawing
- Attend weekly office meeting after training is complete
