Position Overview: Our hygiene Sales Expert (HSE) is responsible for driving increases in B2B sales revenues by the identification and execution of growth within defined sales territory to achieve set targets.
Responsibilities:
- Sell the Citron Hygiene washroom and allied services to new locations, as well as developing and maintaining current clients in a specific geographical territory.
- Develop a specified territory by identifying and targeting prospects through cold calling, tele prospecting, and direct mail campaigns.
- In conjunction with the Regional Sales Director, develop and set specific and measurable sales objectives that support and align to corporate and personal goals on an annual basis.
- Report your daily activities and sales results to your Regional Sales Director as required.
- Attend sales meetings and conferences as required.
- Utilize Citron’s computer system to maintain a current database of clients, and prospects.
- Submit call reports and sales orders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Utilize prime sales time as effectively as possible, make as many contacts and meet as many prospects as possible.
- Work on and assist your Regional Sales Director on large scale promotional campaigns in your area.
Qualifications:
- No Sales Experience? As long as you bring the drive and "hunter" personality, we can provide you with the support and tools to succeed.
- Strong relationship, account management, communication, problem solving, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to demonstrate the use of intermediate sales skills especially but not limited to – Listening, questioning, summarizing, providing, negotiating, closing, and handling customers concerns.
- Demonstrate a strong desire to develop the skills required to drive customer relationships, problem solving, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to demonstrate the use of learned skills especially but not limited to – Listening, questioning, summarizing, providing, negotiating, closing, and handling customers objections.
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid driver’s license and have ability to travel in your defined territory to attend meetings.
- Experience or knowledge in using Sales/ CRM Related systems/ software (Salesforce.com) an asset
- Education equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in commerce and/or business studies preferred, or the equivalent in related work experience.
- Demonstrable track record of driving sales growth in a new business role and Industry relevant sales experience is preferred but not essential
- Must be legally entitled to work at the specified location/region without requiring any sponsorship
- Ability to travel in the US/Canada (training purposes)
