Summary Description: As part of the sales team, you are the life blood of the company. Without sales, nothing else matters. In this role you are responsible for not only maintaining and nurturing the current customer relationships, but also building new relationships and growing your portfolio of business. You will need to be self-motivated, work with a high sense of urgency, be able to multi-task, and be able to manage in high stress situations. Our sales philosophy is to provide more value than our competitors. This may require you to step out of your comfort zone and build business partnership relationships.

Essential Functions:

• Meeting with and constantly provide new ideas, products, and solutions to current customers.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of potential customers.
• To not just kick cans. Ask, learn, and listen to customer needs and provide out of the box solutions.
• Regularly review customer purchases to repair volume and communicate anomalies.
• Follow a detailed process to take customers from prospects to close.
• Investigates customer complaints and makes recommendation for resolve.
• Participate in on-going training.
• Provide weekly sales call reports to the Sales Manager.
• Evaluate and re-evaluate customer size and volume to analyze call frequency and time spent on calls.
• Participate in scheduled sales meetings.
• Work with manufacturer representatives.
• Oversees customer’s requirements with regard to color decks, training, and proper product selections.
• Assist customers with all current PPG and manufacture technology supplied by distributor.
• Coordinates and participates in mixing system installations.
• Participates in Special Project assignments i.e. car show, customer events, company events, etc.
• Work and communicate with the warehouse, counter, and administrative team about all company and sales related topics.
• Must maintain great communication and follow up skills with customers daily.
• Maintain a positive attitude each and every day.

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Assists with in store functions such as inventory counts, cleaning, paint mixing, incoming and outgoing freight, etc.
• Assist counter staff in person or via phone with customer questions and solutions.

Education – Experience

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Sales experience and Automotive Repair experience a plus.

Requirements:

• Valid unrestricted driver’s license and insurable
• Pass background check
• Good communication and follow up skills.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs frequently throughout the day
• Regular and predictable attendance
• Stand, sit, and walk for long periods of time
• Be able to manage a variety of stressful situations

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
