Overview

Stonington Country Club strives to provide its Members and Guests with an excellent golf experience and pleasurable social opportunities. Our Outside Operations Team are valued members of our staff and work with the entire team to provide an exceptional golfing experience throughout the season.

*This position is seasonal and typically runs from May through September. Additional hours outside of this time frame are a possibility, dependent on business levels and individual performance.*

Experience Required

Prior experience in the golf business a plus but not required. The ideal candidate will have an interest in golf and the golf business. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service standards and be able to work in a team environment.

Essential Responsibilities

• Required to work in an outdoor working environment
• Willing to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to drive a motor vehicle including having a valid driver’s license.
• Required to stand for long periods of time.
• Greet members / guests upon their arrival and provide service.
• Prepare, operate, and maintain cart fleet.
• Set-up, monitor, and break down the practice facility.
• Provide services to members after completion of play.
• Communicate and work well with other staff members.
• Keep work area clean and orderly at all times.
• Assist with member requests as needed.
• Assist with the set-up and execution of all golf tournaments and events.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
