POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides courier support services to Outreach Laboratory department
POSITION EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
- Valid Texas Drivers license
- Driver’s license under CLEAR status with the DMV required.
- Eligible to obtain Hazardous Transport Certification
- High degree of competency and experience in within a hospital environment, preferred.
- Requires good communication and organizational skills.
- Requires reasoning ability and good independent judgment.
- Previous outreach experience strongly preferred.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs courier services for the department as necessary.
- Delivers patient results, supplies, and requisitions
- Maintains and schedules vehicle for service.
- Friendly and courteous to physician offices.
- Routes deliveries appropriately.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
