Our client is hiring Harvest Technicians who will be responsible for the care of mature cannabis plants. This is a temp role that will last 8 weeks.
Harvest Technicians will execute operations within the greenhouse pertaining to harvesting and processing of cannabis flower.

Responsibilities:

• Assists with harvest of mature plants
• Assists in other areas of the farm as necessary throughout the season
• Work with cultivation associates cutting plants, moving plants, bucking, shucking, and quality-controlling plants
• Hand trimming and machine trimming

Physical Requirements:

• Long periods of prolonged standing and sitting
• Requires normal range of hearing and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer
• Use of step-stool up to 4 feet high to work with 2nd tier plants
• Ability to observe and assess the material that deviates from established company standards
• Some crouching or holding uncomfortable positions for extended periods of time; repetitive motions
• Requires bending and lifting up to 70 pounds

Working Environment:

• Outdoor and greenhouse working environments in a fast pace and highly regulated industry.

• Constant interaction with colleagues
• Labor intense, so be prepared for hard work and fluctuating temperatures.

Desired Experience:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Be prepared for the weather. 30-50 degrees in the morning. Definitely need layers. PPE, eye protection, basic working outdoor gear.
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for extended periods
• Able to walk on uneven surfaces, kneel, bend, reach, rotate, and stoop on an intermittent to regular basis daily.
• Able to climb and work on a ladder or mechanical lift as necessary for a prolonged time.
• Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds consistently.
• Able to perform manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, work with fingers.
• Willingness and ability to wear gloves, mask, eye protection, head protection, ear

protection, sun protection, and pest determent protection on a consistent basis.
