The Outbound Transportation Analyst will have primary responsibility for generating and publishing all reporting regarding in transit load tracking. This position will partner with the Director of Outbound Transportation, Senior Managers of Outbound Transportation, Store Operations, and Regional Operations Managers to ensure store deliveries are made on time and at a service level that is acceptable to the organization. The position will provide detailed analytical support for the Outbound Transportation organization to support Transportation strategy.Provide primary analytical and reporting support as it relates to weekly transportation compliance

Responsibilities:

• Updates daily the trailer management system and file with trailer status, location, and ETA
• Corresponds daily with linehaul carriers and 3PL pool point providers to accurately locate trailers in transit
• Provides necessary information compiled above to enforce FIFO cadence with carriers, assisting with pool processing decisions, and providing insight to pool points
• Responsible for reporting and addressing any anomalies occurring to loads in transit to Senior Manager
• Assisting with creation of plan to manage delays in transit, providing daily insight to ensure best course of action
• Assists with any alternate projects and priorities for Outbound Team with Senior Manager

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years ofLogistics/Transportation or related field
• Bachelor’s degree in a Supply Chain/Business – related field preferred
• Experience establishing key performance indicator metrics to benchmark/track performance.
• Experience in Microsoft/Excel/Reporting preferred.
